DIAGNOSTICS
Safety valves - Control valves - Electricity & Instrumentation

For reasons related to safety, productivity and/or statutory requirements, some of your equipment requires particular monitoring.
BAREP designs and implements techniques aimed at objective diagnosis of the operation of this equipment.
Our aim is to help you
- Validate and track the conformity of your installations
- Standardize the results of tests on different generations of equipment
- Extend the lifetime of your equipment
- Provide a performance analysis of the present system
- Target the maintenance and investments providing the best response to organisational requirements

Diagnosis - Safety valves

BAREP helps you to monitor your installed base of safety valves throughout the various stages required by legislation. The periodic inspection (decree of 15th March 2000 concerning the operation of pressurized equipment) is part of the process prior to re-qualification in the workshop.

In this respect BAREP performs the following tasks:
• Identification and marking of the installed base of valves
• Validation of maintenance frequency and operations
• Visual examination of the valve (leaks, identification, outlet, etc.)
• Examination of documentation
• Manoeuvrability in operation test
• Adjustment of opening pressure in operation

Diagnosis - Control valves

Control valves are key elements in the production process.

The establishment of a signature for certain equipment before commissioning, upstream of the maintenance phases or after re-qualification in the workshop, is a potential benefit for the instrumentation and/or maintenance departments.

The tool adapts to all brands of equipment, without removing the equipment from the line.

Diagnosis - Electricity & Instrumentation - Actuators:

On/off valves fulfil safety functions. Their re-qualification entails validation of operation of the actuator, the valve and the assembled unit.

BAREP has designed and developed a calibration bench dedicated to actuator qualification.

All types, all brands
5 measurements of physical magnitude are taken and recorded in order to qualify the actuator and the valve in operation:

• Electrical rigidity test
• Contacts test
• Power test
• Torque test
• Opening/closing times test.
